Anika O'Connell's Baby Shower: Tucci Soho

One of my favorite things about photography is getting to be a fly on the wall. I love watching the energy of a room unfold - the family dynamics, the inside jokes, the way people naturally gravitate toward one another when they're celebrating something meaningful.

On June 14th, I spent the afternoon documenting an intimate baby sprinkle at Tucci Soho in Manhattan. Surrounded by close friends and family, the celebration felt warm, joyful, and wonderfully unhurried. These are the moments I love documenting most, and the reason I believe the best event photography often happens in between the moments we plan for.
